Not sure how things got messed up but, I would really like to get some sleep
after this is fixed!!!
Problem started with sendmail and httpd not working. The server has been
running great for weeks and then all of a sudden this. Maybe I was hacked?
Who knows, but I tried to login from remote and was unable to. I then went
to the office to login. DOH! I can not login as root! grrrrrrrr So I
rebooted the machine and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
Server came back up like nothing was wrong. Still couldn't login as root or
anyone else. Now I am starting to get the dreaded phone calls on why the
hell customers can't get their email from my server! grrrrrrrr!

Now I rebooted the machine again and when the linuxconf screen came up, I
was able to get into linuxconf using the root password. I enabled sendmail
and httpd services and rebooted.
Thank God sendmail and httpd services are now working. BUT I STILL CANNOT
LOGIN OR TELNET!

Now here is the really odd thing. When I use to telnet in, I would get the
login screen like this.

Red Hat Linux release 6.0 (Hedwig)
Kernel 2.2.5-22 on an i686
login:

Now I get this! what has change to make this so? mydomain.net is now in
front of my login.

Red Hat Linux release 6.0 (Hedwig)
Kernel 2.2.5-22 on an i686
mydomain.net login:

PLEASE HELP! MUST GET REST SOON !
