[lug] Netscape Communicator and ms exchange 5.5 imap

I was fooling around with using netscape as a mail client with an exchange
imap server. I am able to see the inbox just fine, but when I try to make a
sub folder to match my already existing folders I get an error that says
something about there already being an object of that name on the server.

The thing I really want to be able to do is leave my mail on the mail server
and be able to read incoming mail/stored mail from linux. I thought
Netscape would do the trick for me, 'cause imap seems to be the way to go to
only download headers of emails, but maybe not. Would mutt be a good way to
go? I'd need to figure out how to make mutt see all the sub folders,
though. Hmm. I don't know if fetchmail would leave the junk on the server.
Too bad exchange/outlook mail is so huge. Rambling . . . Any ideas?
