Will the DSL be on a static or dynamic IP address? If your trying to reach
the network connected to the DSL from the outside world, I believe you must
have a dynamic IP address. But I'm trying to find a way around this.

I currently am running DSL through a dynamic IP (and IP masquerading), and
haven't found any way to reach the network from the outside world. And the
way US West is doing it right now, even though it is "a dynamic IP address",
my ip has never changed.

If anyone knows a way around this, I would love to know. The IP address to
my router is a normal IP which is accessable from anywhere on the internet,
which then connects to a 10.0.0.2 network card in my linux machine. The
linux machine then IP masquerades to a 192.168.2.xxx network of 10 or so
other computers.
