Something else worth checking is for .rhosts files in user home directories, 
examine the /etc/hosts.equiv, make sure something has been opened up.  

Course I'd look at that file that was compiled, see what it's about, get
rid of the binaries he made.  Course sometimes a full reinstall wouldn't 
hurt.  But then you have to go through all the previously mentioned steps
of shutting things off.
