[lug] font recommendation sought

I'm looking for a constant-width font that looks good on a terminal
under X at 1024x768 or higher, especially at small point size (10-12 pt
or 7x12 box) The problem is that I want a bold or strong font.
For example, the following are fairly good but all have some problems:

-b&h-lucidatypewriter-bold-r-normal-sans-12-120-75-75-m-70-iso8859-1
-biznet-courier-bold-r-normal--12-120-75-75-m-70-iso8859-2
# pretty good
7x13bold   (alias for -misc-fixed-bold-r-normal--13-120-75-75-c-70-iso8859-1)
wzl00bn10  (from wordperfect 8)

In the past, I have liked 8x13bold, which is also called
-misc-fixed-bold-r-normal--13-120-75-75-c-80-iso8859-1
but this is too large for my new, larger, monitor :-)

Guess I have searched through all the "standard" X11 and Win95 fonts.
Any comments or recommendations appreciated....
