I might explicitly add to that... Even though pkware self-extracting
archives are ".exe" (executable in the DOS/win world), the "unzip" program
(available in source, http://www.cdrom.com/pub/infozip/, compiles nicely for
Unix/Linux systems) can extract the contents. That's pretty cool, and avoids a
reboot / use of another OS. Of course, these particular files being from
Microsoft, they may be contained in some GUI shell/ other extractor.
