[lug] AGP

AGP cards can be accessed just like PCI cards (as long as there's not a
buggy BIOS). In the recent 2.3.x kernels, there's new support for the
special capabilities of the AGP cards, but AGP cards do work with the
current stable kernels.

Many folks doing work on OpenGL are using the kernel module that adds
enhanced AGP on the newer kernels, but for standard X desktops you
certainly don't need it.

So depends no what you want to do with it.
