[lug] clock not setting

Somebody just suggested using netdate to update the clock.
with the following form.

I dont have netdate installed on my RH6.1 box.

Instead I use

# set the hardware clock from a time server
rdate -s timex.cs.columbia.edu
setclock

in a script I execute occasionally.

If you look at the man page for setclock it will inform you of the
appropriate file to mess with  for the clock configuration.
