Thanks all for the advice. I'm swamped now so it's going to go on the back
burner, but it sounds like the easiest thing to just take the plunge and
upgrade to 6.4 of X and figure it out.

I'll let ya'all know what I learn when I learn it.

Thanks!

Subject: [lug] Multi-head display question

Hi all -

I've got a couple of Matrox Millennium cards and a couple of monitors and
would like to fool around with multi-head X, but I can't find much in the
way of documentation on this type of configuration. I've read through the
XFree86 HowTO and done some searching on the web and I'm not finding much
info aimed at setting it up and using it.

Can anyone aim me at any good documentation on how to do this effectively.
I've got it running under NT (brainless) with the Matrox Quickdesk software,
so I know the hardware configuration will work on this machine.

Thanks!! (This is my first dive into multi-head, so I thank you for your
help!)
