Most Linux distro's supply one or more boot disk image files on the
CD.  If you have a 2nd linux machine, you can use the 'dd' utility to
write the image to floopy.  If not, then access to a Win/Dos machine will
allow you to use the dos executable 'rawrite.exe' to writ the boot disk
image to floppy.

Better yet, if you have a Linux distro that provides a bootable CD (and
your system BIOS supportso it) then you can boot from the CD.  The SuSE
distro Bootable CD even provides the option to boot a rescue session
wholly gfrom CD, or eables you to specify your installed root partition
and boot that - both options use the kernel from the CD.
