[lug] Splitting jobs among computers

Well, you could open up your machine for nfs mounting and then mount your
machine's disks on the other machines.  Then the software would be
available but not "on" the other machines.  Somehow the other machines
will need to get access to the instructions (executable code) in order for
any computation to occur.
