What would be the easiest way to mimic Windose9.x HyperTerm with Linux? When HyperTerm is used to communicate with an instrument we have, we configure it as 9600/8/None/1. We've tried "minicom /dev/ttyS0" without any luck, along with various tty devices such as mgetty, and uugetty. Gary
