I can't speak for Oracle and Sybase, but postgres is NOT limited to a 2 gig
data size.  It stores the tables as separate files, and starts new files when
any exceed about 1 gigabyte.  The docs say that - with sufficient RAM - one can
have up to 200 gigs of data.
