I looked again at the install options and saw 'EtherExpress Pro/100'---would this be the Intel card I have? I'll give it a shot. But I'll still have to recompile for dual-processor support, right? I have an 800 MHz PIII, would recompiling the kernel improve performance for that? Not that I _need_ it. Glenn
