[lug] recursive .cvsignore

I'm interested in ignoring a particular subdirectory name, that like
CVS, occurs as a subdirectory in every subdirectory of every project I
use a particular tool on. I can add this to .cvsignore, but there are a
lot of directories, and .cvsignore isn't recursive. Is there a simple
way to tell cvs to use .cvsignore for all subdirectories of a module,
recursively, rather than making a copy of .cvsignore in every
subdirectory?

I wanted to avoid a global option that might ignore this for unrelated
projects with this subdirectory name...it has to be ignored only from
that directory and deeper, but not in parents.

Thanks,
