[lug] Gnome tty question

Hi,

When I run some programs from the command line, "ps -ef" reveals
a tty, but when I click on them from the gnome panel, "ps -ef"
reveals a "?" where the tty would be. These latter don't
work (e.g., netscape can't find the server and tkcvs can't
read /CVSROOT).

Panel example:
glenn 654 1.1 1.9 3788 2532 ? S 09:09 0:00 wish
/usr/bin/tkcvs --
Command line:
glenn 663 1.2 2.3 4184 3028 pts/1 S 09:10 0:00 wish
/usr/bin/tkcvs --

I realize this isn't the end of the world, but would like to
get it working.

Thanks,
Glenn
