I have found that I have to run junkbuster from a script, for some 
odd reason, I have the same problem with running it automatically 
from rc.d . Although I think THAT is a permissions problem. I 
haven't fiddled with it to find out.

I have a script that runs it like this-

/usr/sbin/junkbuster /etc/junkbuster/config
and run that after X is started.
works fine if I do that.
