[lug] Will RS/6000 43p run Linux?

If you can wait, IBM is supposed to have a port of Linux next year I
believe (AIX 5L will be linux source compatible at the .1 release which
is due out spring next year).  The problem you would have with the older
43p would be if they have the microchannel bus (lsdev -Cc adapter|grep
mca) will tell you if you have one.  Alternatively, you could open the
box and look at the cards in it.

I think the 43p's were ISA/PCI based but I'm not positive.
