              Boulder Linux User's Group Meeting Summary

Attendance:  50  

Synopsis:  Ed Moxley (moxley at fsl.noaa.gov) from
NOAA's Forecast Systems Laboratory <http://www.fsl.noaa.gov/> talked about
their new 256 node alpha/linux cluster
<http://www-fd.fsl.noaa.gov/hpcs/>.  He covered the basic architecture of
the system, answered quite a few questions, and showed a short video tape
of the facility.

As usual, we ended the evening with our general question and answer
period, door prize drawing, and after meeting socializing.
