Hmmm ...

Well, I wouldn't bother with a Linksys EZ card - it uses the MPX5030 (that or
thereabouts) chipset, which Donald Becker referred to as a "stunningly bad
design".

I guess I'd try for the lowest-priced 3Com or Intel NIC at CompUSA, if I needed
one right away.  If I could wait for mail order, I'd try www.pricewatch.com.
