[lug] File size limit issue

I think I may have found and answered my question.
However.
_if_ anyone has anything to add, or has experience using LFS in
linux. I would _love_ to hear about it :)

FYI, these websites have the answers :/
http://www.suse.de/~aj/linux_lfs.html
http://www.scyld.com/software/lfs.html
http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/lfs70.html

So, from what I can see, it sounds like when kernel 2.4 is released
(i think they're still doing a manual recount :) that LFS on x86
platforms will be supported. However, programs need to be
compiled with the correct glibc *and* with LFS API calls.

In the mean time, maybe I just need to get an Alpha, or there's
Sparc, or wait for IA-64? :)
