I'm looking for some free software project development software that
runs on linux (for a free software project...there is some resistance to
the idea of source control there without a better means for people to
communicate). Basically there is a 24/7 server available, but people
need a more detailed means of logging what they are intending to do
before actually doing it (unlike cvs logs acting only after the changes;
file watches are insufficient, ditto with email). Many of these people
are not used to disciplined version control (newbies are seriously
underestimating cvs's value), and need something to aid communications.
Does anyone here have any recommendations for this?
