[lug] Samba Problem

Well, I managed to kill my linux system (running Debian) and had to
re-install it last night.  Long story...don't ask.

In any case, I have it mostly back up and running except for Samba.  I
have smaba installed, configured using my pre-crash config
file, and the daemon running.  Unfortunately, I cannot connect to it
over the network....as if the samaba server is not running at all from
the point of view of my Windows system.

Can anyone suggest what the problem might be?  This is rather critical
that I get samba back up and running soon.
