[lug] new to BLUG, Hello, @Home setup

I took the static IP from the windows boot and got connected.

I hate to say that
/sbin/pump -h C1234567-A -i eth0
did not work. I did this manually without changing my init scripts.
I wonder, could the default scripts set environment variables
that may be needed for initialization?

If anyone does have there system up with dhcp and did something
extra to make it work, I'd appreciate any more help.

I'm happy to have myname.com back up and running, even though it's
not through dhcp. It makes my life much easier.
