[lug] Path problems

Dear Bluggers,

I'm having a really annoying problem with a program I am helping to
install for a colleague on his Linux box. The program appeared to compile
and install correctly, but it can't find some of its component parts even
though the paths seem to be correct.

This is the error:

/usr/arb/bin/arb: /usr/arb/usr/bin/bin/arb_ntree: No such file or
directory

But this is the $PATH list:

/usr/arb/usr/bin/bin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:
/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/chris/bin:/usr/arb/bin/arb

So the right directories seem to be in the $PATH but no go. Any ideas what
might be going on here?

Thanks in advance for any help you can send my way. -Scott
