[lug] elm chokes on charset X-roman8

A Linux system is getting email from a HP box and in the headers it has:

Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=X-roman8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

and when it is opened in elm, it says:

[Charset X-roman8 unsupported, skipping...]
[Use 'v' to view or save this part.]

but there is no way to look or safe this email.

if I take the Content-Type header out, it is happy, but....

maybe it's a sendmail issue?

Any suggestions of how to fix this?
