Yea, I've notices that open source software has *so* much more "product
instability", since it doesn't crash or freeze several times a day like
Windoze ;-)

I'm curious about his claim that it will lead to "a breakdown of common
industry design standards that could force valuable intellectual property
into the public domain." Even if there *were* a breakdown of standards (like
that would be anything new), HOW does that force ANYTHING into the public
domain???? Besides, isn't that what happens to new technology after the
patent runs out anyway?
