[lug] What's up with the NIST time servers (fwd)

Judah:
I was the person who first sent this post to the BLUG list, which Wayde
kindly forwarded to you. After reading 3 or 4 confirmations of my
problem from other BLUG members I don't believe this problem is on our
side. These issues with the nist time servers are not severe problems
and I can reliably synchronize to the CU time server:
utcnist.colorado.edu.
But my results with:
time-a.timefreq.bldrdoc.gov
time-b.timefreq.bldrdoc.gov
time-c.timefreq.bldrdoc.gov
are sporadic.

It seems that everyone who confirmed my problems today started noticing
these issues around the same time - roughly 2 .. 3 months ago.

I hope this information is useful to you. Please feel free to contact
me if I can be of further assistance.

Thanks,
Ferdinand
