[lug] file creation of a specific size

dd if=/dev/zero ibs=10M obs=10M count=1 of=your_file_name

Thanks to D.Stimits - I was trying to use /dev/null and not getting any
records transferred - duh.

I *knew* I had to use one of those device files :)
