[lug] Help : Quotacheck bug!

Hi

I am admin of a system with 600 users and about 6 GB of /home.
While changing the Hardware I moved the entire system to
RedHat 7.1 .

But I can't turn the quotas on. "quotacheck" runs for a while
and stops suddenly doing nothing forever. I have tried almost
every thing ( mounted or unmounted , converting old quotas , ... 
quotacheck won't come out )

The System is a PIII 866 , 2x 40GB HD (RAID) , RH7.1 , Kernel 2.4.2.

What should I do ?
