Uups, I just saw this:

This is unfortunately a text that went through several hands ....
First of all:

  Adobe isn't atacking, it's a Law firm.

enhanced babelfished from the heise.de article:
-----------
The attorneys accuse the University that "advertisement" for kIllustrator
violates trade name rights of their client Adobe and besides, this is
damaging their reputation.

.... original:
Die Anwälte werfen der Universität vor, die "Werbung" für kIllustrator
verletze Markenrechte ihrer Mandantin Adobe und sei außerdem rufschädigend.

---------

Damaging somebodies "reputation" is a nebulous term and opens the door to
"lots of damage claims".

The article reflects the fact that Adobe is referred to as a "client" by
the law firm indicating, there is an attorney/client relationship between
Adobe and the law firm. To claim somebody as a "client", one needs a power
of attorney.

This and the fact that the lawyer's office and Adobe's office are
geographically about 20 miles apart is a very strong indication that the
law firm is acting on behalf of Adobe Germany.

To state that "Adobe isn't attacking, it's a Law firm" is somewhat blurring
reality.
