Sorry for the second post. I wasn't getting an error when rsync'ing tar
files so I didn't run verbose on them. I just did and I something that may
hint that there's still an issue.

false_alarms = 190

Just sounds like files were opened but unchanged. Not sure about that so
incase I'm wrong.....
