[lug] 2.4 kernel on a Sparc?

I was just wondering if anyone has yet run the 2.4 Linux kernel on a
Sparc system (Sparc Classic, etc.) for an extended period of time?

Soon after the kernel was release (as of 2.4.1 and 2.4.3), I tried the
2.4 kernel on my Sparc Classic only to find nothing worked.....The
system was unstable, and key elements (notably IP Tables I had wanted
to play with) were very buggy.

Anyone had better success lately with 2.4 on a Sparc?  How stable is
it?  Any notable problems?
