[lug] Linux laptop projector woes

I've seen the same problem at other times.
If you had switched to a non-X mode, I'd be willing to bet you would have
displayed fine.
Problem: can't make presentation in console mode.

hmmm.

Don't know the fix, but your function key was working properly.
