Hello,

I've been trying to stop the popping which occurs on my HP Pavilion
with the i810 motherboard and onboard audio.  I'd posted here a couple
of times about it so thought I'd send a note about what appears to be
the resolution.

With Alan Cox's help, I think that I've got it fixed and I've sent him a
patch against the 2.4.8 version.  ( The 2.4.9 version seems broken in
other ways related to a 'virus' known as aRtsd. )  I don't know if Alan
will use my patch, but if anyone's interested I can send it to them.
