new kernels are always good... I was mildly surprised with SuSE's 2.4.4
kernel finally seeing an old Takram Ultra-SCSI card that was just
sitting in my development machine doing nothing... :-)

ahh.. not a python-head/fan yet but I'm sure this will make a lot of
