[lug] How to list cvs modules?

Greetings,

Does anyone know if there is a way to list the modules in a CVS 
repository short of logging into the remote machine?  I guess there is 
the CVSROOT/modules file as well, but I was hoping for some command like
cvs show modules

or something of that nature.  I haven't found anything like that in the 
docs which is why I'm asking.
