I have to agree. OTOH, a couple of years ago when I was trying to hire, I
had candidates that didn't even show up for interviews or call to cancel.
They just didn't show up. If you were a recruiter and put up with that kind
of crap for very long you might be tempted to gloat also...

Don't feel so bad. This is simply the lack of common courtesy endemic to
