Hi,

I would like to get a scanner for my Linux box, but I know nothing about
them.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

I "thought" that I wanted one with a SCSI interface, but they don't seem
to exist any more, at least not in my price range.  What is the speed of
USB vs SCSI scanners?  How well supported are USB scanners?

Finally, I would like a "decent" scanner, but don't know how to compare
the numbers that come with them.

Any help would be much appreciated.
