Hi lana,
  I'm kinda late to this thread, but I've found
my iwill kk266r-plus board with 512m pc133 and
1.4g Athlon was pretty much plug and play. I 
upgraded the hardware from an AMD K6-3-450 and
my old Linux install came right up (RH 7.1). 
The built-in sound was recognized no problem
(cmi8738 h/w 6 channel, 5.1 configuration).
  One of the things I was really impressed with
was the driver cdrom. When you boot from the 
cd it loads linux to allow you to create a 
floppy for the raid drivers which are included.
A small thing, but I was really impressed.
