I never used the Norton tools on Win2k, maybe as J. Briggs mentioned it
would do the job (I know it does on vfat, not sure how ntfs works).

FYI, the instant you defragment you will lose it all. And the first time
some new file finds an old location convenient, you'll lose that chunk
of data.
