Thanks for the brilliant clarity.  Go to the source... Duh... Oy.  I went to
www.ogg-vorbis.com and they have a radically newer plugin available that
works.

I got an encoder for winamp from the ogg/vorbis pages and it works fine.
There were 2 or 3 others available from winamp and I didn't have much
success with those.

Sorry I don't remember how I found it though.
