[lug] IP aliasing and documentation

2 questions:

1. http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/IP-Alias states that IP Alias has been 
deprecated in 2.4.x and replaced by a more powerful mechanism. Is the new way 
to get the same effects documented anywhere accessible?

2. Is there a good place to find documentation about ripple effects of ip 
aliasing (and multiple IPs in general), particularly on 2.4 systems? Do 
things get set up the same way, but processed differently underneath?

(I own lots of O'Reilly books. Knowing where to look in them, or on the Web, 
is the tricky part.)
