(partly OT) [lug] Wine, Quicken, etc. on Linux

HI,
I have been using Moneydance for about a year now. I is shareware and you can
use it as long as you like without the capability of electronic transaction
downloads from credit card companies.

SuSE often gets a special license for commercial software they package. So your
version of Moneydance may be fully enabled - or at least they don't say that
they would like to see money from you within 30 days. This is the very reason
SuSE CDs have this funny license that limits you from sharing your software to
within your organization. The free version of SuSE comes via ftp download -
without those commercial packages.

FYI - SuSE 7.3 for SPARC is out now now. It supports the Sun Blade 100,
finally!!! Sparc Linux has become rare and I am glad SuSE still offers strong
support for <<strange>> platforms like PPC, SPARC, IBM mainframes, ...
