[lug] 802.11b wireless

At my office, we have a Linksys cable/dsl modem, ethernet hub, access
point (mfr model #BEFW11S4) and it wouldn't work with anything but
windows out of the box.  I had given up and stated that on one list and
someone pointed me at a firmware upgrade that allowed me to use it with
my linux systems.  So, you may need to upgrade the firmware to use it
with a linux system.
