Oh yeah, also I did a search of unix.h on my system and came up with
this list. All of the directories listed contain unix.h:

/usr/local/include	<--- PHP is looking in here (sym link)
/usr/local/imap/c-client	(sym link)
/usr/local/lib (sym link)

/usr/local/imap/src/osdep/amiga	(Real file)
/usr/local/imap/src/osdep/unix	(File that sym links are pointing to)

I was hoping to find another non-amiga version of unix.h but there are
none. There is just the /usr/local/imap/src/osdep/unix/unix.h file
which all of the sym links are pointing to.
