[lug] C code quality tools

Hi, everyone.

I just discovered, perhaps a little late for the most recent project,
the existence of lclint and gcc-checker.  Grand tools, these seem to
be.  (I'd have an even higher opinion of them, had I discovered them
sooner.)

Anybody else have recommendations on tools, compilers, or libraries
that make the C programmer's life-o-debugging easier?
