Open SQL Enterprise Manager. Expand out your server, and click on the
desired database.

on the MMC Menu, select Tools, Generate SQL Scripts... Click on the "Show
All" button, and then select "Script All Objects"

Give it a file name, and click OK.

Subject: [lug] [OT] grabbing the schema from an MS-SQL server

I am sorry to post this here, but I am trying to coax SQL Server to give
me just a schema of all tables in a db and none of the data.

Google gets me lots of links on taking classes and buying books.

I want to do something similar to

mysqldump -d <dbname>

that would work with SQL Server.

Hugh
