If I remember correctly, I looked at CompUSA, Circuit City, and Best Buy. 
They all had cable modems that were certified to work with AT&T, and (at
the time) there were a total of about 3 brands to choose from. They all 
seemed pretty much the same, and I think that they were priced similarly
too.
