What mechanism does KDE use to associate icons with programs in the taskbar?

For example, when I run konsole, the task has a mini-icon on the left
side. The same icon also appears in the upper left corner of the
window. For some reason, after an upgrade to Mozilla 1.1 (via RPM), I
just see the default "X" (rather than the prehistoric lizard) on the
taskbar and in the corner of the window.

Some digging around turns up /usr/share/pixmaps/mozilla-icon.png which
appears to be the larger version. Do I need a smaller version?
